Elbit Systems announced on October 19 a contract worth approximately $235 million to supply rocket artillery to a European country it did not name, according to the company’s announcement and European defense trade coverage.

The order

The package includes PULS launchers, EXTRA-MR rockets, which Elbit describes as having a range of up to 80 kilometers, additional rocket-artillery platforms and logistics support, with deliveries over three years. It is structured as a government-to-government agreement between Israel’s Ministry of Defense and the customer’s. Elbit disclosed neither the buyer nor the number of launchers and rockets.

Context

Trade reports place the order in a run of European rocket-artillery contracts for Elbit worth more than $1.2 billion combined by their estimates, including a roughly $750 million Greek contract announced in April 2026. European armies have been replacing or expanding long-range fires since 2022.

What to compare next

For readers following ESLT, which trades in the U.S. as an American depositary share, $235 million is a modest addition to a backlog that exceeded $20 billion in recent filings. The pattern of repeat European orders for the same system matters more than any single contract, since it implies production economies on a line the company has already built.
