Earnings This Week: Netflix, GM, Tesla and Meta Report

This is one of the heaviest reporting weeks of the quarter. The four companies below are among the most discussed on the site, and each has confirmed its date on its own investor page.
Tuesday, October 20
Netflix ([NFLX](/t/NFLX)) posts results at about 1:01 p.m. Pacific, followed by a recorded video interview with management at 1:45 p.m. Pacific on its investor relations channel, per the company's notice. Netflix no longer reports subscriber counts each quarter, so the comparisons are revenue growth against its own prior guidance, operating margin, and the fourth-quarter outlook.
General Motors ([GM](/t/GM)) reports before the market opens, according to its investor calendar. Trailing reported earnings were reduced by large charges in late 2025, so the figures to watch are adjusted operating profit, North American margin, the stated cost of tariffs, and whether full-year guidance changes. The site's undervalued stocks page explains why GM's trailing P/E currently looks different from its forward multiple.
Wednesday, October 21
Tesla ([TSLA](/t/TSLA)) releases results after the close with a question-and-answer webcast at 4:30 p.m. Central, per its Form 8-K notice. Tesla already published third-quarter deliveries and energy-storage deployments on October 2, so the new information is automotive gross margin excluding regulatory credits, capital spending, and free cash flow.
Meta ([META](/t/META)) reports after the close with a call at 4:30 p.m. Eastern, per its October 12 notice. The comparisons are advertising revenue growth, the full-year capital expenditure range for AI infrastructure, and Reality Labs operating losses.
Reading the week as a whole
Each of these companies guides differently: Netflix and Meta give quarterly ranges, Tesla gives none, and GM gives full-year adjusted ranges. Compare each result with the company's own prior guidance before comparing it with analyst estimates, which are third-party figures. Report dates can move; the links above are the authoritative source if anything changes.
